Lo showrunner di Doctor Who , Steven Moffat ha un messaggio per I fan a cui non è piaciuta l’idea del nuovo accessorio del Dottore: “Qualche volta non potete fare altro che abbracciare l’eresia”.
Quando il Dottore (Peter Capaldi) ha scambiato il suo cacciavite sonico per un paio di occhiali da sole sonici all’incirca a metà della premiere della nona stagione, non tutti i fan erano pronti ad accogliere “la tecnologia da indossare”. Il cacciavite è stato l’accessorio simbolo dell’arsenale del Dottore sin dal 1960, ma in un video della BBC condiviso su Youtube, Moffat ha replicato che gli occhiali sono fedeli alla serie nel lungo periodo.
“Potrebbe far tornare in voga la battuta originale… che il cacciavite era solamente un cacciavite che faceva rumore,” afferma Moffat.
Ma mentre il Dottore non ha il cacciavite, lo showrunner ribadisce che i fan del dispositivo icona verranno premiati.
“Sono certo che il cacciavite un giorno farà di nuovo la sua comparsa.”
