100Nerd gioite! The Big Bang Theory e American Horror Story: Asylum la fanno da padroni ai Critics Choice Television Awards con sei nomination a testa, che sono state annunciate mercoledì mattina.

In vetta ai network c’è la HBO con 21 nomine, seguita da FX con 19, CBS con 11, ABC con 10 e NBC e Fox con nove a testa.

The Big Bang Theory è in gara nelle categorie miglior serie comedy, miglior attore in una comedy (Jim Parsons), miglior attore non protagonista in una comedy (Simon Helberg), migliore attrice non protagonista in una comedy (Kaley Cuoco, Melissa Rauch) e migliore comparsa in una comedy (Bob Newhart). Big Bang si scontrerà nella categoria comedy con Louie, The Middle, New Girl, Parks and Recreation e Veep.

American Horror Story: Asylum partecipa come miglior film o miniserie, miglior attrice in un film o miniserie (Jessica Lange), miglior attore non protagonista in un film o miniserie (Zachary Quinto, James Cromwell) e migliore attrice non protagonista in un film o una miniserie (Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson). American Horror Story: Asylum se la dovrà vedere con Behind the Candelabra della HBO, The Crimson Petal and the White di Encore, The Hour di BBC America e Political Animals di USA.

Le nomination come migliore drama includono The Americans, Breaking Bad, Downtown Abbey, Games of Thrones, The Good Wife e Homeland.

Il suo primo amore telefilmico è stato Beverly Hills 90210 (insieme a Dylan McKay) e da allora non si è più fermata, arrivando a guardare più serie tv di quelle a cui è possibile stare dietro in una settimana fatta di soli sette giorni (il che ha aiutato la sua insonnia a passare da cronica a senza speranza di salvezza). Le sue maggiori ossessioni negli anni sono state Roswell, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Smallville e i Warblers di Glee.
