Buona domenica a tutti e ben ritrovati con l’appuntamento settimanale dedicato alle citazioni telefilmiche!

Quest’oggi partiamo con The Originals, la 2×12 intitolata “Sanctuary”, che a mio avviso ci ha regalato un altro episodio spettacolare. Inizierei quotando Rebekah, girl power!

Freya: You helped me. Why?
Rebekah: Because I’m a bloody fool, or maybe I just like the idea of us girls sticking together.

Freya: Mi hai aiutata. Perché?
Rebekah: Perché sono una povera stupida, o magari solo perché amo l’idea di noi ragazze che ci spalleggiamo a vicenda.

E poi c’è Klaus con la sua anima tormentata.

Hayley: Hope will always be the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson, the hybrid killer with thousand enemies. Don’t you get it? It’s you. You’re the threat. You’re so paranoid that you can’t see that this wedding can help her. She can come home. The wolves will be on our side.
Klaus: The wolves cannot be trusted.
Hayley: In your paranoid mind no one can be trusted.

Hayley: Hope sarà sempre la figlia di Klaus Mikaelson, l’ibrido assassino con mille nemici. Non lo capisci? Sei tu. Sei tu la minaccia. Sei così paranoico che non riesci nemmeno a capire che questo matrimonio potrebbe aiutarla. Potrebbe tornare a casa. I lupi sarebbero dalla sua parte.

Passiamo ora allo show “madre”, ovvero The Vampire Diaries e la sua 6×13 dal titolo “The Day I Tried To Live”, e a Kai che io personalmente adoro.

Well in case you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a sociopath. I know, shocker. I like being a sociopath, ya know? I’m not burned by things like guilt or love.

Be’, nel caso non l’aveste capito finora, sono un sociopatico. Lo so, sconvolgente. Mi piace essere un sociopatico, sapete? Non vengo corroso da cose come il senso di colpa o l’amore.

Torniamo a parlare di Constantine dopo averlo snobbato un pochino nelle ultime settimane! Dalla 1×12, “Angels and Ministers of Grace”:

Manny: The man’s body had all these feelings and I used a woman to extinguish them.
John: You mean you made two poor sods feel pleasure. Momentary relief from the tragedy of every day living. That doesn’t sound like a sin to me mate, but then again you know I wasn’t around when they made those rules.

Manny: Il corpo di quest’uomo provava tutte queste sensazione, e ho usato una donna per estinguerle.
John: Ovvero hai fatto provare piacere a due povere anime. Un momentaneo sollievo da quella tragedia che è la vita di ogni giorno. Non mi sembra un peccato ma ripeto, non c’ero quando hanno scritto queste regole.

Citiamo ora la 4×11 di Scandal, “Where’s The Black Lady?”.

Olivia: It’s not going to work. Using me as bait. He won’t do it. Go to war. The President doesn’t negotiate with terrorists.
Ian: Honestly, I don’t care. I get paid either way. But for argument’s sake, let’s wager. One dollar. I bet you that he will go to war for you. One dollar says he does it. Because President or not he’s just a man. A sad, terrified man who’s lost his Olivia doll and wants her back. Call me a romantic, but I bet one dollar that he loves you, and that’s what makes the world go round. Emotion, sex, jealousy, insecurities.

Olivia: Non funzionerà. Usarmi come esca. Non lo farà. Andare in guerra. Il Presidente non negozia con i terroristi.
Ian: Sinceramente, non mi importa. Verrò pagato in qualunque caso. Ma giusto per tenere vivo l’argomento, speculiamoci su. Un dollaro. Scommetto un dollaro che scenderà in guerra per te. Un dollaro che lo farà. Perché Presidente o meno, è solo un uomo. Un uomo triste e terrorizzato che ha perso la sua bambola Olivia e la rivuole indietro. Chiamami romantico, ma scommetto un dollaro che ti ama, ed è questo che fa girare il mondo. Emozioni, sesso, gelosia, insicurezze.

Dalla 3×11 di Nashville, “I’m Not That Good At Goodbye”, vi riporto le dichiarazioni d’amore di Rayna e di Deacon, partendo da quella di lei:

I love you. I’ve loved you since the first time I ever laid eyes on you. The first time I ever heard you play a note on the guitar. First time I ever heard you laugh. And even through all the hell we put each other through, I love you now.

Ti amo. Ti ho amato dalla prima volta che ti ho visto. Dalla prima volta che ti ho sentito suonare una nota sulla chitarra. Dalla prima volta che ti ho sentito ridere. E perfino nell’inferno nel quale ci siamo buttati a vicenda, ti amo in questo momento.

E poi quella molto più malinconica di lui:

She and me, I don’t even know what we are, okay, but I know that I don’t want her like this. Feeling sorry for me. Taking care of me. That’s all she’s ever done, all right. I want to be the one to take care of her, and I can’t do it right now because I’m sick.

Io e lei, non so nemmeno cosa siamo, okay, ma so che non la voglio vedere così. Vederla dispiaciuta per me. Prendersi cura di me. È quello che ha sempre fatto, sempre. Voglio essere io quello a prendersi cura di lei, e al momento non lo posso fare perché sono malato.

Torniamo ora a Reign e all’episodio dal quale è tratta la citazione in apertura, ovvero la 2×13 intitolata “Sins of the Past”.

Francis: How could you send me to another? How?
Mary: Because I love you. And one of us should be happy.

Francis: Come potete lasciarmi a qualcun altra? Come?
Mary: Perché vi amo. E almeno uno di noi dovrebbe essere felice.

Facciamo ora parlare Morgan, dalla 3×14 di The Mindy Project, “No More Mr. Noishe Guy”.

I would like to have everyone’s attention. I am also moving. I am moving from the basement of my grandmother’s house to the attic.

Vorrei avere l’attenzione di tutti. Mi trasferisco anche io. Mi trasferisco dalla cantina di mia nonna alla soffitta.

E ovviamente non possiamo non citare Mindy herself!

Just because I look like Olivia Pope does not mean I know how to get rid of a body.

Solo perché somiglio a Olivia Pope, non significa che sappia come far scomparire un corpo.

Nella 1×12 di The Flash, “Crazy For You”, abbiamo visto Caitlin e Barry socializzare un pochino di più… alla loro maniera ovviamente.

Caitlin: At least you’re not pining for someone who burst into flames and wants nothing to do with you.
Barry: What is wrong with us?! I mean, we’re in our 20s. We should be having fun. We should meet people, go on lots of dates.
Caitlin: Here’s to liquid courage.

Caitlin: Almeno tu non piagnucoli su qualcuno che può scoppiare in fiamme e che non vuole avere niente a che fare con te.
Barry: Cosa c’è che non va in noi?! Cioè, siamo giovani. Dovremmo divertirci. Dovremmo conoscere gente, avere un sacco di appuntamenti.
Caitlin: Diamoci al coraggio liquido.

Chiudiamo con la 3×12 di Arrow, che porta il titolo di “Uprising”. Chiudiamo con Felicity che finalmente ritrova Oliver…
