Il sole splende – anche troppo – e noi siamo qui a tenervi compagnia perfino sotto l’ombrellone (perché lo so che alcuni di voi si sono già dati alla bella vita!). Oggi partiamo con Penny Dreadful, che è forse lo show che sta dando più soddisfazioni in assoluto – a me sicuramente. Nel quarto episodio di questa prima stagione abbiamo visto Dorian ed Ethan avvicinarsi…

Dorian: Can a heart be honest?
Ethan: You’re the expert there.
Dorian: I think music can. Perhaps only music because it’s ephemeral. That’s the paradox, music is a phantasm but it’s true.

Dorian: Un cuore può essere onesto?
Ethan: Siete voi l’esperto qui.

Il caldo non sta risparmiando nemmeno le nostre maid preferite e per l’appunto dalla 2×07 di Devious Maids, Betrayal.

Genevieve: Tesoro, sei stata sposata per 22 anni: è ovvio che ti sia dimenticata che la gente fa sesso.

Nella 2×07 di Orphan Black, Knowledge of Causes, and Secret Motion of Things, è come (quasi) sempre Alison ha snocciolare le perle migliori.

Alison: I can’t go to jail, Felix. I don’t have the temperament. In the shower, if they touch me, I will cut them.

Alison: Non posso finire in prigione, Felix. Non ho il temperamento adatto. Nella doccia, se mi toccassero, li farei a pezzettini.

Donnie: I put it back in your gun locker.

Non possiamo non citare la 4×08 di Game of Thrones, The Mountain and the Viper, che tanto per cambiare pare aver lasciato sconvolto mezzo fandom.

Tyrion: Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons. Doesn’t seem right.

Tyrion: A quanto pare è stato scritto fin troppo sui grandi uomini e troppo poco sui coglioni. Non è giusto.

Questa settimana è tornato sui nostri schermi Beauty and the Beast con la 2×17, Beast is the new Black. Dite ciò che volete, ma io rimarrò a vita #TeamGabe.

Gabe: For the record, I have not been holding onto organs in case you and Vincent get back together.

Gabe: Per la cronaca, non ho tenuto da parte degli organi nell’evenutalità che tu e Vincent tornaste insieme.

Anche se bisogna ammettere che Cat e Vincent sono pseudo teneri insieme.

Catherine: But you said you’d be ok. You have the gem.
Vincent: Catherine, that gem is just a band-aid, okay? It’s not gonna protect my humanity. You could give up everything for us, and I could get out of there worse than the beast I was when I killed Windsor. Come on, you know it’s true. That’s why you were willing to risk everything to get me out of there.

Vincent: I’m sorry, but I’ve got to say goodbye. I’m asking for one last night where we can love each other as much as we do right now.

Catherine: Ma hai detto che sarebbe stato tutto a posto. Hai la gemma.
Vincent: Catherine, la gemma è come un cerotto, okay? Non salvaguarderà la mia umanità. Potresti rinunciare a tutto per noi, e io potrei comunque trasformarmi in una bestia peggiore di quella che ha ucciso Windsor. Dai, sai che è la verità. È per questo che eri disposta a rischiare così tanto per farmi uscire di lì.
Catherine: No, sto rischiando tutto perché ti amo.
Vincent: Mi dispiace, ma devo dirti addio. Ti sto chiedendo un’ultima notte nella quale potremo amarci esattamente come ora.

E perfino JT e improbabile compagna sono teneri.

JT: Hey. We just had our first fight, which in my book makes this a real relationship; which I could really use right now.

JT: Hey. Abbiamo appena avuto il nostro primo litigio, il che ci rende una relazione vera; e potrebbe farmi comodo al momento.

E poi Beauty and the Beast incontra Once Upon a Time e NO, ecco.

Catherine: I promise you I’ll find you again, okay?

Catherine: Prometto che ti ritroverò, okay?
